This role is ideal for a student pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field who wants hands-on experience in corporate finance within a dynamic, employee-owned company.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Financial Analysis & Reporting</p> <ul> <li>Assist in preparing monthly financial reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis. </li><li>Support the FP&A team in reviewing actual results vs. budget/forecast. </li><li>Analyze sales, margin, and expense trends to identify risks and opportunities. </li><li>Assist in forecast models and validating data integrity. </li></ul> <p>Data & Systems</p> <ul> <li>Work with Excel, Power BI, and internal financial systems to gather, transform, and interpret data. </li><li>Help maintain data accuracy for reporting and analytics. </li></ul> <p>Business Support</p> <ul> <li>Partner with cross-functional groups such as Accounting, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations to gather inputs and support project needs. </li><li>Participate in financial project work such as cost analysis, business reviews, or process documentation. </li></ul> <p>Other Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Present key project findings to Finance leadership at the end of the internship. </li><li>Perform additional duties as assigned in support of departmental goals </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or related field. </li><li>Completion of introductory finance/accounting coursework preferred. </li></ul> <p>Skills & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas). </li><li>Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI) a plus. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. </li><li>Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment </li></ul> <p>What You'll Gain</p> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with real corporate financial processes. </li><li>Exposure to FP&A, Accounting, Operations, and Senior Leadership. </li><li>Experience with data analytics tools and financial modeling. </li><li>Insight into employee ownership and how business decisions drive long-term value. </li><li>Professional development, networking events, and mentorship throughout the summer. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Standard office environment in Schofield, WI. </li><li>Internship duration typically 10-12 weeks (late May-August). </li><li>Full-time schedule (40 hours/week), Monday-Friday. </li></ul>
