<p>Akkodis is seeking a Cloud Security Architect for a Contract with a client in Irvine, CA. The candidate must have strong cloud security architecture expertise with proven hands-on experience across AWS IAM, WAF, KMS, Guard Duty, and multi-account Landing Zone security.</p> <p>Rate Range: $53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.</p> <p>Cloud Security Architect job responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leads cloud security architecture for large-scale AWS migration programs, ensuring secure Landing Zone implementation and governance guardrails.</p> </li><li> <p>Designs IAM guardrails, SCPs, encryption models, and centralized logging to enforce multi-account security controls.</p> </li><li> <p>Implements WAF policies, firewall rules, network segmentation, and endpoint protections to safeguard applications and workloads.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts vulnerability assessments, penetration testing cycles, and coordinates remediation activities across cross-functional teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Integrates SIEM platforms with AWS native security services to deliver continuous monitoring and threat detection.</p> </li><li> <p>Develops security documentation including HLD/LLD designs, risk assessments, and operational runbooks for secure cloud operations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related engineering field.</p> </li><li> <p>10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on background in AWS cloud security architecture.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven expertise in AWS IAM, KMS, WAF, Guard Duty, CloudTrail, Landing Zone security, and multi-account governance.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong experience designing secure architectures for large-scale cloud migrations, including vulnerability assessments, threat monitoring, and implementation of enterprise security controls.</p> </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, then please click APPLY NOW.
