In addition, this position will be eligible for additional benefits consistent with the role. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to: scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation. The hiring range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.</p> <p>What you will be doing</p> <p>Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Hospital for Special Surgery Rehabilitation and Performance's Pediatric division is seeking a speech pathologist to join our dynamic team as a clinical fellow.</p> <p>The Speech Pathology Clinical Fellowship is a full time 9-month program that is a mentored professional experience after the completion of academic course work and clinical practicum as per the American Speech- Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).</p> <p>The speech clinical fellow will spend approximately 80% of their time in direct patient care and 20% of their time is educational.</p> <p>As a member of our renowned Peds Rehab team you will provide pediatric outpatient evaluations and treatment for pediatric patients with a variety of speech, language and feeding diagnoses. In this role you will work collaboratively with the pediatric physical therapists and occupational therapists. The caseload also includes working with patients in the acute care setting to perform bedside swallow evaluations and treatment for our in-patient population.
