<p>This position is grant funded for the 2025-2026 school year only.</p> <p>Mt. Washington Elementary is seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and student-focused individual to join our school family as a Reading and Math Interventionist. The ideal candidate will work closely with our intervention team and classroom teachers to deliver effective, differentiated support for students in grades K-5.</p> <p>Candidates with current teaching certification is also a plus. The position is a Classified Instructional Tutor position.</p> <ul> <li>Must have 64 college credit hours per day with 2.5 GPA. and provide a copy to HR upon recommendation to hire. </li></ul> <p>This position is for 3 hours per day and 181 days per year.</p> <p>170 school days, 7 Bullitt Days, 4 extended days</p> <p>Contracted days will be adjusted based upon start date.</p> <p>(This position is considered part time and not eligible for benefits unless combined with another position that would make it full time.)</p> <p>Salary will be based on the Board approved salary schedule for the 2025-2026 school year.</p> <p>24-25 pay scale</p> <p>Step 0: $23.33</p> <p>Step 10: $25.55</p> <p>New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)</p> <p>Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year long contract and divided by the number of reamining paychecks.
