Greet and receive all patients in a professional, warm, and efficient manner. Utilizing the laboratory software; register patients into the system for proper specimen processing. Make sure to maximize in-house lab processing.</p> <p>FUNCTIONS:</p> <ol> <li> <p>Perform venipuncture on patients in both a timely and professional manner.</p> </li><li> <p>Verify lab orders are available and patients are registered.</p> </li><li> <p>Process specimens for internal and external processing.</p> </li><li> <p>Management of Lab area</p> </li></ol> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>High school diploma or equivalent required</p> <p>Graduate of a phlebotomy training program</p> <p>Phlebotomy Certification highly preferred</p> <p>2 years' experience in a lab required; oncology experience preferred.</p>
