Recent Accounting or Finance graduates, as well as current seniors with full-time availability, are encouraged to apply.</p> <p>Salary/Hourly Rate:</p> <p>$50k - $52k</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The Junior Accountant will support the Accounting Department with a variety of day-to-day accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, develop their accounting skills, and gain hands-on experience in a professional setting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, communicative, and ready to take on new challenges.</p> <p>Responsibilities of the Junior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>Assist with Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) processes. </li><li>Prepare and post journal entries. </li><li>Process invoices and maintain accurate records. </li><li>Assist with General Ledger maintenance and account reconciliations. </li><li>Support month-end and year-end closing activities. </li><li>Review financial data for accuracy and completeness. </li><li>Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects and administrative tasks. </li></ul> <p>Required Experience/Skills for the Junior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>0-2 years of accounting experience (internships and relevant coursework welcomed). </li><li>Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. </li><li>Experience with ERP systems and accounting software is a plus. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. </li><li>Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting preferred. </li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. </li><li>Eagerness to learn and grow within an accounting role. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Experience/Skills for the Junior Accountant:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs. </li><li>Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting preferred. </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. </li><li>Recent graduates and current college seniors with full-time availability are encouraged to apply. </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off). </li></ul>
