<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Rotating Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The CT Technologist performs CT procedures on patients and completes related tasks to reflect CT services provided</p> <p>Hours | Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Per Diem , Relief </li></ul> <p>What the CT Technologist will do:</p> <ul> <li>Greet patients and explain procedures. Answer questions and instruct patient during procedures. </li><li>Perform CT scan and teach other staff procedures according to established protocol. </li><li>Position patients for exam. Utilize positioning aids to assure precise view. </li><li>Determine correct scanning protocol and exposure factor for exam. Monitor image and modify imaging protocol to achieve optimum examination results, keeping dose reduction a priority. </li><li>Ability to label scans appropriately and to review and submit studies in PACS. </li><li>Prepare contrast media and administer to patients. Ability to interpret and follow Renal Prophylaxis Protocol and to raise questions when necessary. </li><li>Maintain inventory and perform minor equipment repairs or adjustments. Ability to recognize the need for equipment repairs and environment improvements and to submit work orders. </li><li>Maintain patient logs and CTDI reporting. </li></ul> <p>What the CT Technologist will need:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an approved school of radiologic technology or nuclear medicine. </li><li>Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or Society of Nuclear Medicine. </li><li>Preferred: CT experience </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
