<p>Job Description</p> <p>CDM Smith is hiring in Tennessee! We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Bridge Project Manager to join our Transportation group in Tennessee! This position can be based in Knoxville, Nashville, Chattanooga or Memphis. CDM Smith has been providing transportation services in Tennessee for over 55 years. This Sr. Bridge Project Manager will help to support our firm's strong position in transportation design with the TDOT and municipal clients.</p> <p>Flexible and hybrid work opportunities are available!</p> <p>In this position, you will be:</p> <ul> <li>Managing and serving as Tennessee Transportation Project Manager on TDOT statewide bridge design projects </li><li>Arranging, facilitating and preparing for meetings and coordinating with major clients </li><li>Building new business and managing relationships with key transportation leaders within TDOT and other major clients including municipalities and contractors for design build throughout Tennessee. </li><li>Managing and assisting with strategic pursuits including proposal development and client meetings </li><li>Preparing and managing design and construction contract specifications for transportation projects </li><li>Being involved with budget, scope and schedule development, monitoring and adherence for tasks and projects managed </li><li>Implementing quality procedures at project and task levels </li><li>Being active in professional societies in which clients or potential clients are members </li></ul> <p>For more information about our Project Management roles, tools and culture, please visit this website https://bit.ly/2UC8V16.</p> <p>Employment Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree. </li><li>10 years of related experience. </li><li>PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list). </li><li>Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. </li><li>Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Proven and successful experience managing TDOT bridge projects </li><li>Previous engineering design experience with TDOT is a major plus </li><li>10+ years of TDOT project management experience </li><li>Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering or related discipline </li><li>Professional engineering (PE) license </li></ul>
