<p>Kforce has a client in Atlanta, GA that is seeking a Risk Analyst I who has a proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment. The ideal candidate must have strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities and be able to identify, research, and analyze complex issues. The Risk Analyst must have exceptional time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines while prioritizing tasks to meet SLAs.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Analyze customer information, financial patterns, and transaction data to identify fraud and risk patterns and trends </li><li>Understand standard operating procedures and operate within the established guidelines to mitigate risk </li><li>Document processes and procedures and maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions </li><li>Represent the company brand and provide top-notch service while balancing customer empathy with risk policies </li><li>Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve customer-related issues </li><li>Identify areas of improvement and propose changes to optimize processes and technology </li><li>Stay up-to-date with industry trends and data knowledge to identify new fraud and risk pattern </li><li>Complete 15-20 inbound calls daily, solving complex Risk & Fraud questions to our merchants* Compliance Skills: (KYC - Know your customer, KYB - Know your business) </li><li>KYC and KYB knowledge: Understand the core purpose of KYC and KYB to verify the identity of customers (individuals) and businesses to prevent fraud, and compliance concerns </li><li>Due diligence procedures: Knowledge of the steps involved in performing KYC/KYB checks, including gathering customer information, and document verification </li><li>Identification and verification experience: Checking the validity of submitted documents (e.g., ID, proof of address, articles of incorporation documents) against the information we have on file; Ensure documents are not expired and complete </li><li>Data entry experience: Accurately inputting customer information from various sources (articles of incorporation documents, ID documents, etc.) into databases and systems </li></ul>
