<p>Job Title: Field Service Technician</p> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>This role will be mostly based out of Atlanta and Northern Florida but may travel within the South East area of our shops.</p> <p>We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Field Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment across our Retail locations within a Region. The ideal candidate will possess a solid mechanical and technical background, a problem-solving mindset, and a strong commitment to safety and compliance. This role requires up to 75% of travel, physical work, and the ability to handle a wide variety of service and repair tasks.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of automotive service equipment at our Centers.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform scheduled and emergency service visits, documenting all work in Corrigo or other CMMS platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Diagnose and repair equipment including:</p> </li><li> <p>Air Compressors (single-phase and 3-phase), compressed air systems, dryers, pressure regulators, filters, and hose lines.</p> </li><li> <p>Automotive Lifts (hydraulic/electric), ensuring safety and operational standards are met.</p> </li><li> <p>Automotive Service Equipment such as transmission fluid exchange machines, coolant service systems, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Oil Delivery Systems: pumps, pressure regulators, metered control guns, overhead reels, and oil tanks.</p> </li><li> <p>Automotive A/C Service Machines (EPA Section 609 certification preferred).</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct basic electrical tasks including lighting repairs, circuit breaker resets/replacements, and code compliance.</p> </li><li> <p>Handle basic plumbing repairs such as sump pump replacements and bathroom fixture repairs.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform general handyman duties including painting, drywall repairs, door fixes, and minor concrete work.</p> </li><li> <p>Use ladders and work in elevated positions as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Travel daily to multiple service sites and respond to emergency service needs promptly (75% travel)</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. You must pass MVR records check.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven experience diagnosing, installing, and maintaining equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Comfortable working with:</p> </li><li> <p>Basic hand tools and power tools relevant to maintenance and repair work. We will supply the tools necessary to do all job functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with work order management systems (Corrigo preferred). Or could learn computer applications quickly.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be willing to travel and capable of physical labor, including working on ladders and in tight spaces (75% travel)</p> </li></ul> <p>Key Competencies:</p> <ul> <li>Self-motivated and proactive with a "get it done" attitude. </li><li>Strong troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. </li><li>Good communication and documentation skills. </li><li>Strong attention to safety and compliance. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Field-based role requiring frequent travel between locations. </li><li>May be exposed to noisy environments, mechanical equipment, and varying weather conditions. </li></ul> <p>Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required</p>
