<p>Our Premium Audit team is currently seeking a Premium Audit Team Lead in our Howell, MI or Worcester MA location.</p> <p>Position is eligible for Hybrid/Flex work arrangement or possible remote work location consideration.</p> <p>This is a full time, non-exempt role.</p> <p>POSITION OVERVIEW:</p> <p>Join our dynamic Premium Audit team as a Premium Audit Team Lead, where you'll play a pivotal role in guiding operational excellence and delivering best-in-class service. As a strategic support to the Manager, you'll lead a high-performing team through workflow management, technical expertise, and proactive coaching. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to process innovation and drive business results while mentoring a dedicated audit team.</p> <p>Approximately 25% of your time will support production activities - keeping you rooted in hands-on auditing while leading forward.</p> <p>IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:</p> <p>Leadership & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Facilitate team meetings and communicate updates, priorities, and best practices </li><li>Cultivate team pride, engagement, and trust through active coaching and mentoring </li><li>Support new hire onboarding and cross-functional training </li></ul> <p>Workflow & Operations</p> <ul> <li>Analyze work distribution reports and align resources to meet business priorities and SLA targets </li><li>Implement process improvement initiatives that optimize operational efficiency </li><li>Identify trends or roadblocks in escalated work items and guide resolution </li><li>Coordinate with offshore partners and internal stakeholders to align capabilities </li></ul> <p>Service Excellence</p> <ul> <li>Provide exceptional customer support to Agents and Insureds </li><li>Validate and analyze financial data to determine accurate exposures and earned premiums </li><li>Remain current with state-specific compliance changes and ensure team adherence </li><li>Own and resolve priority items and complex account issues with urgency and precision </li><li>Deliver clear, professional written and verbal communication across all levels </li></ul> <p>Technical Expertise</p> <ul> <li>Serve as a subject matter expert for auditable policy coverages, rules, and classifications </li><li>Support implementation of manual rules and audit procedures across all policy segments </li><li>Share technical guidance with team and partners to ensure quality and compliance </li><li>Identify skill gaps and lead knowledge-sharing sessions </li></ul> <p>WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree or two years equivalent insurance related experience. </li><li>3-5+ years of audit review experience. </li><li>Completion or commitment of APA 91 and APA 92. </li><li>Advanced understanding of business objectives and the ability to work with other functions to meet those objectives. </li><li>Ability to work with agents, coworkers and policyholders in a positive and helpful manner. </li><li>Effectively manages workload to achieve team goals. </li><li>Able to meet deadlines in a fluid environment and handle multiple tasks competently. </li><li>Advanced computer skills in windows, spreadsheet or word document applications. </li><li>High level of technical expertise enabling one to solve complex issues. </li><li>Above average interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills. </li></ul>
