<p>School Psychologist (Part-Time) JobID: 1230</p> <p>Position Type:</p> <p>Student Support Services/School Psychologist</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>5/9/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Triad High School</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>SY 25-26</p> <p>Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>TRIAD COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT # 2</p> <p>JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <p>SY 2025-2026</p> <p>POSITION TITLE: School Psychologist</p> <p>LOCATION: Triad High School</p> <p>CONTRACT PERIOD: Part-Time</p> <p>REPORTS TO: Special Education Director and Building Principals</p> <p>RATE OF PAY: Based on the TEA contract</p> <p>Please apply online at www.tcusd2.org</p> <p>In addition, please send letters of interest to Linda Kowalski, Director of Special Education, at linda.kowalski@tcusd2.org and Renee Voegele, Director of Student Programs, at renee.voegele@tcusd2.org</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to analyze and interpret data in meaningful terms for parents, students and colleagues. </li><li>Ability to collaborate effectively. </li><li>Understands childhood academic and behavioral disabilities as they relate to the educational setting. </li><li>Ability to recognize the individual needs of all students and determine when additional services may be necessary. </li></ul> <p>JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Domains reviews</p> </li><li> <p>Complete case study evaluations</p> </li><li> <p>Analyzing data regarding the child prior to the examining session.</p> </li><li> <p>Observation of the child in a variety of school settings.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducting interviews and administration of standardized tests, projective instruments, and evaluative techniques.</p> </li><li> <p>Scoring and interpretation of the data.</p> </li><li> <p>Request and review information from outside resources, which may have had previous contact with the child.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct eligibility determination IEP meeting.</p> </li><li> <p>Participation in the Individualized Education Program development conference to determine placement.</p> </li><li> <p>Re-evaluation of students to determine continued eligibility for special education.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide consultation to both regular and special education teachers and administrators.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate on problem solving teams (RtI)</p> </li><li> <p>Collect and analyze data to determine effectiveness of interventions (RtI)</p> </li><li> <p>Provide individual and group therapy for students.</p> </li><li> <p>Attend IEP conference reviews as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in Early Childhood screenings.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide in-service training programs for teachers, parents, students, and ancillary staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide leadership in promoting sound mental health practices.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide crisis intervention when requested.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned by the Director of Special Education.</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>An Illinois School Service Personnel certificate with a school psychologist endorsement. </li></ul>
