<p>The City of Virginia Beach Department of Operations and Maintenance is currently looking for an Engineer II/III to join our team. If you're interested in being part of a dynamic and dedicated team, come join our team!</p> <p>The selected candidate will perform a variety of complex engineering duties, including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Performs a variety of engineering duties of a complex nature, which may include any combination of program and project management, infrastructure maintenance and repair assessment, development and review of plans and specifications, project coordination, and management support for operation and maintenance of public facilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage a section of an operations and maintenance bureau which includes project/program management, personnel management & development and budget planning.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide comprehensive engineering and project/program management support in a variety of engineering disciplines, developing storm water maintenance projects, including cost estimates and related project/program management initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage professional design services and construction services contracts.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain program and project records and prepare various reports on schedules and budgets.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide professional responses to citizen inquiries.</p> </li></ul> <p>This position will be filled as an Engineer II (A14 $69,298.32 - $107,412.40) or an Engineer III (A.17 $80,221.47 - $124,343.28)</p> <p>This position is open until filled.
