<p>Pediatric Clinic West at Hardin Valley a Division of Summit Medical Group, has an immediate need for an experienced Multi - Duty Receptionist (64 hours per pay period) to join their passionate, authentic, and growing team of professionals. This is a Full-time (64 hours per pay period) opportunity, working 4 days a week plus rotating Saturday hours</p> <p>We are team-driven, collaboration-minded, and all-in to provide the best patient care possible to the community we serve. "It's not my job" is a phrase you will not hear around here!</p> <p>Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned):</p> <ul> <li>Answers phone calls in a professional manner and assists caller's needs appropriately. </li><li>Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner </li><li>Checks-in patients, verifies and updates necessary information in the medical records / database, performs all registration functions and collects copays and balances due, as appropriate. </li><li>Assists patients with ambulatory difficulties, or other needs, as appropriate. Must be customer service oriented. </li><li>Appointment scheduling, referrals, and pre-certifications, etc. </li><li>Files charts and coordinates lab work, as requested. </li><li>Sorts and delivers mail, medical records, and other correspondence. </li><li>Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner. </li><li>Attendance/Punctuality: Dependable and arrives to work on time. Notifies supervisor at least 2 weeks in advance for time off (excluding emergencies.) </li><li>Cooperates and helps coworkers if needed and is committed to the success of the team. </li><li>Attends meetings, as required. </li><li>Maintains strictest confidentiality, both internally (with other Summit employees) and externally (with the public). </li><li>Adheres to the corporate compliance plan and policies. </li><li>Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities.
