The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and exceptional expertise to oversee logistics program activities and provide strategic guidance.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Logistical Management: Manage the logistical aspects of product life cycles, including coordination of samples and minimization of obsolescence. Program Development: Develop and implement logistics program activities, including Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), technical documentation, Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM), and provisioning. Problem Resolution: Resolve logistics problems and compile data on standardization and interchangeability of parts to expedite logistics activities. Cost Analysis: Perform system life-cycle cost analysis and develop component studies to inform decision-making. Support Activities: Plan, organize, and execute logistics support activities such as maintenance planning, repair analysis, and test equipment recommendations. Technology Advancement: Stay informed of logistics technology advances and government policies, applying them to improve logistics processes. Strategic Advisory: Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff from project inception to conclusion.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Education: Bachelors degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred. Certifications: Certified Logistics Professional Certification. Experience:</p> <p>Minimum of 10 years of experience as a logistician within the DOD environment. An additional 6 years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in a preferred degree-related post-secondary program may count as 1 year of experience.</p> <p>Additional Skills</p> <p>Exceptional qualifications and expertise in logistics. Ability to initiate, supervise, and develop requirements for complex programs.
