<p>Job Details</p> <p>Job Location: Corporate Services - Maryville, TN</p> <p>Salary Range: Undisclosed</p> <p>Job Shift: Day</p> <p>Description and Qualifications</p> <p>The Training and Communications Internship is a perfect opportunity for any individual looking to gain hands-on experience in eLearning course authoring, communication design, HR reporting, and more. As an intern, you'll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining insight into various aspects of employee training, communications, performance management, and HR technology.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p> <ul> <li>Create engaging and effective eLearning modules tailored to employee training needs. </li><li>Help assess training requirements by collecting feedback and evaluating performance gaps. </li><li>Must be able to work in coordination with Training team and the HR team </li><li>Assist in measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of training programs to ensure they meet desired outcomes. </li><li>Assists with any administrative processes or reporting that occur in the HR Department, as needed </li><li>Assist in facilitating the new hire orientation program </li><li>Collaborate with other training team members in the content creation process </li><li>Assist in building online forms and surveys through use of various programs such as Formstack, Survey Monkey, and Beekeeper </li><li>Assist in designing communications for several platforms within the company, including Canva </li><li>Assist in the regular maintenance of training materials </li><li>Assist on projects as needed </li></ul> <p>Must comply with all company policies and procedures.</p> <p>To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and consistent attendance is required.</p> <p>Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.</p> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High School degree or equivalent preferred </li><li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs </li><li>Must demonstrate an understanding and need for confidentiality </li><li>Excellent organization and decision-making skills </li></ul> <p>LANGUAGE SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Ability to understand departmental policies and procedures and to make independent judgments in absence of supervision </li><li>Must be able to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and managers </li></ul> <p>MATHEMATICAL SKILLS</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge and understanding of math </li></ul> <p>REASONING ABILITY</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goals </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods of time and move about the property as necessary </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <ul> <li>General Office </li><li>4,200 acres of Blackberry Farm property </li><li>5,200 acres of Blackberry Mountain property </li></ul> <p>About Blackberry</p> <p>Blackberry Farm and Blackberry Mountain, Relais & Châteaux properties located in the Great Smoky Mountains, continue the traditions of unparalleled hospitality and luxury that have always been the hallmark of the Blackberry brand.
