<p>Immediate openings for full time positions! $15.00 an hour pay, 11 paid holidays, generous paid time off (PTO), and available health benefits including health, dental, vision and life insurance coverage available. Monday through Friday 8:30am to 5pm. 37.5 hours with a 1-hour daily lunch break.</p> <p>Housekeeper</p> <p>Neighborhood Health Association is seeking Housekeeping Staff who will be responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and comfortable environment in our clinics.</p> <p>Requirements for employment: a valid driver license, independent personal vehicle used to move between 3 to 4 different NHA locations per day (mileage reimbursed), and the personal vehicle must be insured.</p> <p>The Housekeeper works under general supervision of the Housekeeping Manager to assure the cleanliness of NHA clinics and work locations following established work duty checklists and cleaning schedules while adhering to established infection control standards.</p> <p>General Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors. </li><li>Vacuum, clean carpets and rugs. </li><li>Dust and polish furniture and fittings. </li><li>Empty and clean trash containers. </li><li>Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner. </li><li>Clean wash basins, mirrors, and showers. </li><li>Wipe down glass surfaces. </li><li>Wash windows as scheduled. </li><li>Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry. </li><li>Sort, fold, and put away clean laundry. </li><li>Operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as washer and dryer machines. </li><li>Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition. </li><li>Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements. </li><li>Familiar with the organization's Fire and Disaster plan and the role of the Housekeeping Staff in that plan. </li><li>Occasional evening/weekend required for a special event. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <p>Lifting Requirements:</p> <p>Heavy Work - Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move.</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>Must be able to stand, sit, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk/hear, see, reach, and be comfortable with repetitive motion.</p> <p>Hazards and Atmospheric Conditions:</p> <p>There is limited exposure to dust and electrical hazards, in relation to the storage of files and the operation of office equipment.</p> <p>Equipment and Tools:</p> <p>Equipment: Floor scrubber, vacuum sweepers, wet/dry vacuums, cleaning carts, computer, copier, washer and dryer machines</p> <p>Tools: Gloves, mops, brooms, buckets, dust pans, trash bins, rags, cleaning equipment, and writing instruments</p> <p>Infectious disease Precautions:</p> <ul> <li>Personal protective equipment provided or required </li><li>Social distancing guidelines in place </li><li>Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place </li></ul> <p>This is a non-exempt hourly pay position Monday - Friday, 37.5 worked hours per week, no weekends or holidays</p> <p>Neighborhood Health Association (NHA), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), is the largest community health center system in Northwest Ohio with partnerships that include ProMedica, Mercy Health, and University of Toledo Medical Center.
