<p>Business Consultant Senior - Commercial Claims Data Mining</p> <p>Hybrid 1: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.</p> <p>The BUSINESS CONSULTANT SENIOR is responsible for translating the most highly complex and varied business needs into application software requirements. These needs typically involve significant expenditure or cost savings and impact a wide range of functions. Also, provides expertise to lower leveled consultants. This is the highest level in a career progression.</p> <p>How you will make an impact:</p> <ul> <li>Provides expertise to lower level consultants on the analysis of business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs. </li><li>Determines specific business application software requirements to address the most highly complex and varied business needs. </li><li>May lead teams of analysts assigned to the most complex projects, typically those of highest importance and impact to the way in which we do business. </li><li>Analyzes and designs solutions to address varied and highly complex business needs. </li><li>Consults with business partners concerning application and implementation of technology. </li><li>Identifies areas at risk and make recommendations on how to minimize the risk. </li><li>Consults with business partners concerning processes, procedures, contracts, processing rules and other system rules. </li><li>Leads various committees or work groups to develop, implement, modify and document new or revised processes, procedures, systems and tracking mechanisms to improve efficiency. </li><li>Uses discretion in making independent decisions. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 10 years business analysis experience, which should include analysis, project management, working knowledge of mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems; minimum of 3 years experience as a Business Consultant with project management skills; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. </li><li>Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:</p> <ul> <li>Create concise and meaningful presentations and deliver them to executives </li><li>Change management capabilities </li><li>Proven record of identification and creation of recovery concepts leading to year over year, significant financial impact. </li><li>Facilitation skills that include, collaboration, and key stakeholder relationships that produce effective, outcome focused agendas, next steps and gap identification and moves ideas and solutions to an end that is focused on CoC/TPS savings. A focus on the customer/provider must be considered for NPS scores. </li><li>WGS claims processing knowledge preferred. </li><li>Experience with multiple markets and lines of business preferred. </li><li>Excel experience as well as other Microsoft Application experience preferred. </li></ul> <p>For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $101,304 to $166,428</p> <p>Locations: California, Colorado, Nevada, New York</p> <p>In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits</p> <p>package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
