RDI prides itself on serving as a strategic engineering partner to OEMs, providing product development, rapid prototyping, full-lifecycle tooling, and extensive customization and private labeling opportunities.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Account Manager - North America will manage a portfolio of OEM, distributor, and end-user accounts primarily across the United States, Mexico, and/or Canada. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong client relationships through swift support and problem-solving. In addition, revenue is driven through consultative selling, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring high levels of account satisfaction and retention.</p> <p>The Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, collaborating with Sales Executives and Product Engineers to deliver new or customized products that address the client's needs. This position directly contributes to RDI's North American revenue goals and supports long-term partnership development across multiple markets.</p> <p>This position is 100% on-site at our facility in Omaha, Nebraska.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Collaborates with Sales Executives to develop, maintain, and execute account plans with clear revenue targets, growth strategies, opportunity pipelines, and quarterly business reviews to drive consistent performance </li><li>Conduct customer needs assessments, uncover pain points (e.g., chemical safety, regulatory compliance, sustainability goals, product design, UN testing support), and recommend customized RDI solutions, including SaFTFlo, OneFlo, custom product configurations, and new product development </li><li>Assist Sales Executives with full sales cycle objectives: lead qualification, technical presentations/demonstrations, proposal development, and post-sale support/implementation. </li><li>Identify and pursue upsell/cross-sell opportunities, such as expanding product adoption, adding custom configurations </li><li>Collaborate with product engineering, marketing, and customer service teams to resolve issues, coordinate custom solutions, and deliver seamless client experiences </li><li>Monitor account health metrics (revenue growth, retention, satisfaction), maintain accurate CRM records, and provide regular forecasts and updates to Sales leadership </li><li>Participate in trade shows and industry events to learn while strengthening relationships, generating new opportunities withing client list, and representing RDI's technical expertise </li></ul> <p>Work Conditions</p> <p>This is an on-site role based in Omaha, NE, in a professional office and manufacturing environment. A travel allowance of up to 5% is required, primarily within North America. Safety glasses and closed-toe shoes are required upon entry to manufacturing areas.</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in B2B account management or sales within technical/industrial sectors (e.g., manufacturing, chemicals, packaging, dispensing systems, janitorial/sanitation) </li><li>Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships and articulate value propositions for engineered safety-critical solutions </li><li>Technical aptitude to learn/understand and discuss product features (e.g., closed-loop dispensing, packaging, recyclability, regulatory compliance) </li><li>Experience using a CRM platform, spreadsheets, and performance analytics </li><li>Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills </li><li>Financial acumen to support and help manage pricing, margins, and ROI discussions with clients </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (technical experience or degree preferred) or comparable experience. </li><li>2-5 years of experience in account management, customer service, or business development in B2B manufacturing or technical product environments </li><li>Familiarity with industrial/institutional cleaning, chemical markets, or packaging is a plus </li></ul> <p>Compensation: Salary + Performance Incentive</p> <p>Benefits Package Includes:</p> <ul> <li>Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance </li><li>Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Coverage </li><li>401(k) Retirement Plan with company contribution </li><li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP) </li><li>Flexible paid time off for vacation and personal time, in accordance with Company policy </li><li>8 paid holidays </li><li>Employee Referral Program </li><li>PayActiv Wallet - access your earned pay on demand </li></ul> <p>Other Duties</p> <p>This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and is not an exhaustive list of duties.
