<p>Your Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for leading employees and working as a team to optimize production performance within a department</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for using expertise to increase efficiency and productivity of operators and equipment within a department and to ensure consistent quality standards are met</p> </li><li> <p>Will help troubleshoot equipment and assist with changeover, set-ups, and will coordinate daily and monthly preventative maintenance and work schedules</p> </li><li> <p>Sets an example for quality and good housekeeping practices in the department and will always be available to provide assistance to operators</p> </li><li> <p>Will maintain accurate records including maintenance reports, incentive, scrap, SPC charts, as well as time and attendance / vacation scheduling</p> </li><li> <p>Encourages employee continuous improvement through SPS activities and using general problem-solving tools</p> </li><li> <p>Must have an assertive disposition, be able to resolve conflict, communicate with others openly, drive production to meet organizational objectives</p> </li><li> <p>Will adhere to and enforce to company policies, safety standards and good housekeeping practices</p> </li><li> <p>Must lead employees by training and coaching employees, as well as providing feedback in regard to employee performance, quality, and safety</p> </li></ul> <p>Your Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Advanced production knowledge and experience</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of production processes, measurement, inspection, procedures, production planning and control</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in SAP & Microsoft Office</p> </li><li> <p>Strong leadership and communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Extremely self-motivated & driven to achieve results</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to prioritize and make decisions</p> </li><li> <p>High School Diploma or equivalent</p> </li><li> <p>External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship</p> </li></ul> <p>Our Offering</p> <ul> <li> <p>2nd and 3rd shift premium available</p> </li><li> <p>Medical, dental and vision insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Life insurance and 401k eligible with up to 6% company match</p> </li><li> <p>Please see all our benefit offerings at Schaeffler Benefits</p> </li></ul>
