<p>Job Title: Experienced RN</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Clinical Nurse Mentor is a unit-based role dedicated to providing mentorship, guidance, and support to novice nurses, with a particular focus on the night shift. This position plays a key role in fostering professional growth, confidence, and clinical competence to enhance nurse retention, engagement, and long-term success within the organization. The Clinical Nurse Mentor serves as a resource and role model, embodying nursing excellence and professionalism while supporting South County Health's mission, vision, and values.</p> <p>Includes sign-on Bonus!!</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct mentorship, coaching, and support to novice nurses during the night shift. </li><li>Promote professional development, confidence, and critical thinking skills in new nurses by assisting with complex clinical situations, multitasking, prioritization, and problem-solving within the unit. </li><li>Deliver exceptional, high-quality patient care through your own assignment while role-modeling excellence in clinical practice and professionalism. </li><li>Foster a supportive, engaging, and collaborative environment to enhance team performance and nurse satisfaction. </li><li>Demonstrate commitment to quality care, patient safety, and continuous improvement. </li><li>Uphold nursing professionalism while aligning with South County Health's mission and values. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in acute care nursing required. </li><li>Prior charge nurse and preceptor experience required. </li><li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. </li><li>Strong communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills. </li><li>Self-motivated, engaging, supportive, and committed to excellence in nursing practice. </li></ul>
