The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 97-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed production drawings and helping to develop efficient and cost effective production techniques. The Detailer will work closely with production to collaborate on best practices for delivery of effective drawings and CNC router files as needed.</p> <p>This position will support our Design team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Orlando, FL.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Develop detailed production ready design drawings depicting fabrication, construction and assembly of structures for exhibit and event projects, using CAD software </li><li>Lay out and depict functional components for production and show site installation and assembly </li><li>Modify and revise designs to correct construction deficiencies or to reduce production problems </li><li>Prepare comprehensive BOM lists for production </li><li>Collaborate with others to determine technical details of productions </li><li>Consult with other departments to identify optimal construction methods while respecting the original design </li><li>Recommends design modifications to eliminate unnecessary costs or labor hours, and/or construction problems </li><li>Partner with Designers to provide feedback on construction problems </li><li>Perform QA/QC on Production Designer's drawings </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in Detailing and/or Drafting </li><li>Demonstrated extensive proficiency in the use of AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and beCAD </li><li>Knowledge of Data Mgmt: Autodesk Vault, Adobe Acrobat </li><li>Knowledge of Office Software: MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel </li><li>Ability to focus on details & comprehensive BOM's </li><li>Extensive knowledge of custom trade show production techniques (custom cabinetry acceptable) </li><li>Strong communication skills </li><li>Strong attention to deadlines </li></ul> <p>Travel Requirements</p> <p>Travel up to 25%</p> <p>What We Offer</p> <p>Freeman provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.
