<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Part time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Part Time - Schedule varies and includes every weekend</p> <p>$500 sign on bonus</p> <ul> <li>POSITION PURPOSE </li><li>Under the direction of the Nutritional Services Kitchen Coordinator, the Nutritional Services </li></ul> <p>Aide - Tray Assembly assists in preparation and set-up of meals and services to patients,</p> <p>visitors and guests, assumes responsibility for cleaning and sanitation as related to specific</p> <p>assignment area, maintains records and related paperwork as required for job assignment and</p> <p>maintains a polite and courteous attitude in meeting the needs of our service group.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates ability to prepare food work stations and subsequent assembly of patient </li></ul> <p>trays and nourishments</p> <ul> <li>Ensures that work stations are cleaned and sanitized during and at the conclusion of shift, </li></ul> <p>following established policies and guidelines</p> <ul> <li>Adheres to infection control and food handling procedures as outlined in department standards </li><li>Recognizes the importance of proper food handling temperatures; ensures that temperatures are </li></ul> <p>adequate</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates ability to safely operate equipment related to position; reports maintenance </li></ul> <p>needs and malfunctions to Coordinators</p> <ul> <li>Recognizes the importance of good attendance and promptness and strives to minimize </li></ul> <p>absences and tardiness</p> <ul> <li>Exhibits a commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude when change is needed </li><li>Willingly accepts job assignments and changes in routines as necessary for efficient operation </li></ul> <p>of the department</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous food service experience preferred </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS</p> <ul> <li>Medium work. Requires continual and repetitive motions including lifting, bending, stooping and twisting. Prolonged walking and standing. </li></ul> <p>Work hours will vary.</p> <p>Pay Range: $16.70 - $24.20</p> <p>Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
