<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Central Sterile Supervisor/UKHC is primarily responsible for facilitating the delivery of patient care through preparing, planning, and providing instrumentation to preoperative services. Responsible for decontamination, correct assembly, and sterile processing of all instrumentation used in the operating rooms. Maintains cleanliness of department and materials management as needed. Must have thorough knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring.</p> <p>Skills / Knowledge / Abilities</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of regulatory standards for universal precautions, sterilization methodologies, and regulatory standards for biological monitoring; operating room instrumentation; and aseptic techniques and sterilization principles, processing techniques, and instrument/equipment care</p> <p>Does this position have supervisory responsibilities?
