<p>Description</p> <p>Position available for a mechanical engineer with experience in a variety of facility mechanical system and subsystems including: studies, layout, specification and design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, utilities, infrastructure, and controls. Position will focus on the design of large scale facilities.</p> <p>Additional duties include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>May develop and evaluate plans for major projects.</p> </li><li> <p>May assess feasibility or soundness of proposed applications when data is insufficient or testing is advisable.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop flow diagrams, P&IDs, and sequences of operation as required.</p> </li><li> <p>May coordinate departmental or divisional project studies, reports or project design assignments.</p> </li><li> <p>Progressive design responsibilities.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.</p> </li><li> <p>Regularly meets and corresponds with clients or outside personnel.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from accredited program.</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum 3 years related experience (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience).</p> </li><li> <p>Mission Critical facility design experience is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge and experience with ASHRAE standards, IPC, IMC, and IECC codes.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written & verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Previous consulting experience preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with energy and HVAC load calculation software a plus.</p> </li><li> <p>Completion of Fundamentals of Engineering Exam strongly preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>$105,000.00-145,000.00 Yearly</p> <p>The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location.
