<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Humanities & Social Sciences Department at Onondaga Community College is currently inviting applications from qualified applicants to teach American Sign Language I (ASL 101) and American Sign Language II (ASL 102).</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Applicants should demonstrate fluent and accurate command of American Sign Language as well as knowledge of culture and language pedagogy. </li><li>Master's degree in ASL or a Master's degree in a related field with 18 credits in ASL. For native speakers: Bachelor's degree in ASL or a related field with 18 credits in ASL. (Mentoring will also be required for those not having the Master's degree.) </li></ul> <p>PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Preference will be given to those with experience teaching at a community college. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li>Adjunct rate of pay for the 26/27 academic year is $1,527/credit hour.
