Deliver.</p> <p>Guided by the values of the company, The Head of North America Ag will have oversight and responsibility for all agricultural business in the United States and Canada, with full P&L responsibility for the North America region. The Head of North America will provide strategic leadership for the company by working with the North America Leadership Team and the local Management Team to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies.</p> <p>The Head of North America will also develop, direct, and coordinate the North America organization with functional responsibility for sales, marketing, product strategy, product development, and business development.</p> <p>The position requires a deep understanding of the US and Canadian agricultural markets, the latest industry trends, and competitive market strategies. The individual will oversee the overall performance and profitability of the North America Ag business and will also serve as ADAMA US General Manager.</p> <p>Our People Promise:</p> <ul> <li>No Nonsense-We are bold and direct </li><li>High Touch-It's business and it's personal </li><li>Informal-We are approachable at all levels </li><li>Take Initiative-We are free to explore </li><li>Can do-We believe anything is possible </li></ul> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Lead the continued growth and evolution of a well-established and profitable North American Ag business. </li><li>Provide strategic leadership and direction to the North America management team, ensuring both short- and long-term objectives are achieved. </li><li>Manage P&L for the North America region (directly managing the US Ag business P&L), delivering top-line and bottom-line results; driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash flow, and business goals. </li><li>Develop and implement the annual business strategy and vision for the North America market, including commercial and go-to-market strategies, market segmentation, product positioning, and marketing planning activities. </li><li>Continuously assess the regional business climate to identify opportunities, expand market presence, and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and vendors. </li><li>Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing and sales strategies to achieve planned targets and market share in both countries. </li><li>Maintain an in-depth understanding of the marketplace, competitive dynamics, and company policies while staying current on industry trends and competitor strategies. </li><li>Set and monitor delivery objectives for both marketing and sales, ensuring successful new product launches, portfolio strategy development, and performance tracking. </li><li>Serve as a collaborative regional leader, working effectively with global and regional counterparts to share insights, develop strategies, and support overall business objectives. </li><li>Act as a role model for the company's values and behaviors through effective leadership, demonstrating the imperatives of the Leadership Framework. </li></ul> <p>Measures of Success:</p> <p>People Development (with the support of HR)</p> <ul> <li>Drive sustained improvement in engagement and enablement, as measured through the Employee Engagement Survey. </li><li>Build and enhance commercial skills, fostering a mindset of continuous improvement and creating innovative tools for simplicity and effectiveness. </li></ul> <p>Financial Execution (with the support of Finance)</p> <ul> <li>Deliver sales and profit growth across the North America region, achieving Workplan goals. </li><li>Manage operational effectiveness by partnering with Finance to understand OPEX and EBIT implications. </li><li>Lead and control the productivity improvement process by evaluating organizational structures and systems, identifying resource needs, and partnering with department leaders to align on strategies and priorities. </li></ul> <p>Strategy</p> <ul> <li>Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes for North America. </li><li>Maintain a deep understanding of local and global markets, industry trends, and competitive strategies by monitoring sales and market developments through publications and direct customer engagement. </li></ul> <p>Customer Focus</p> <ul> <li>Develop strong relationships and network with employees, customers, and industry peers. </li><li>Ensure regional business strategies align with the company's promise to "Listen.
