With offices across North America, we combine the personalized service model of a local consultant with the global resources of the world's leading professional services firm, Marsh McLennan (NYSE: MMC).</p> <p>A day in the life.</p> <p>As our Client Specialist on the Business Insurance team, you'll work directly with Producer, Client Advisor and/or Client Executive by processing daily servicing tasks and support in the new and renewal marketing process. With experience, is also responsible for servicing and retaining their own existing commercial book of business in addition to supporting colleagues. Demonstrates team leadership and MMA's core values</p> <p>Our future colleague.</p> <p>We'd love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent is required. </li><li>Knowledge of commercial insurance industry, laws, product, coverages and markets. </li><li>Knowledge of insurance company markets and conditions, binding authority, procedures and underwriting guidelines. </li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively service customers. </li><li>Ability to proactively manage a book of business and meet retention goals. </li><li>Ability to negotiate quotations with underwriters and evaluate the clients' needs. </li><li>Be a self-starter, problem solver with good time management skills and the ability to be organized and meet deadlines. </li></ul> <p>These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:</p> <ul> <li>College degree preferred.
