In this role you will be working on various building utility services. The HVAC Refrigeration Mechanic assists with the installation of electrical equipment and maintains</p> <p>schedules for planned maintenance. In this role, you will ensure the efficiency of 13 McDonald's locations in Brooklyn, Queens & Long Island.</p> <p>Install, Repair, Replace, Maintain Food Service Equipment</p> <p>Respond to "Dispatch" work order requests</p> <p>Install new refrigeration, heating, cooling, and ventilation systems</p> <p>Inspect current HVAC and Refrigeration systems for function,</p> <p>effectiveness and safety</p> <p>Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC and Refrigeration systems to</p> <p>increase longevity</p> <p>Conduct performance tests with specialized tools</p> <p>Repair damaged HVAC systems</p> <p>Troubleshoot current HVAC system issues</p> <p>Must have an in-depth knowledge of electrical and refrigeration systems</p> <p>Requisition parts and materials and maintain inventory</p> <p>Must be available when the job requires, this may mean evening &</p> <p>weekend work in emergency situations</p> <p>Must be able to work independently as well as with others.</p> <p>Must be proficient in verbal and written communication.</p> <p>Must be able to work at an efficient pace, to diagnose and repair</p> <p>equipment.</p> <p>Must be able to determine when multiple repair options are available.</p> <p>Able to lift 50+ lbs on a regular basis & climb a ladder</p> <p>Able to work on-call, in rotation with other technicians</p> <p>Compensation: (Based on experience and education)</p> <p>3 Weeks Paid Vacation</p> <p>Company truck & fuel</p> <p>Medical & Dental Coverage</p> <p>Continuing education and training</p> <p>provided and paid for!</p> <p>Job Type: Full-time</p> <p>Salary: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 / a year</p> <p>Required Criteria:</p> <p>High school diploma, GED, or trade school training</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Refrigeration: 1 year (Required)</p> <p>Food equipment refrigeration - ice machines, walk ins,</p> <p>self-contained: 1 year (Preferred)</p> <p>Cooking Equipment Repair: 1 year (Preferred)</p> <p>License:</p> <p>Clean Drivers License (Required)</p> <p>EPA 608 Certification (Preferred)</p> <p>By applying to this position, I understand that I am applying to work at a restaurant that is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, not McDonald's USA.
