We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Resource Team (Float Pool), supporting children and families across multiple pediatric care settings during the night shift. This role is ideal for adaptable, confident pediatric nurses who thrive in dynamic environments and value teamwork, purpose, and flexibility.</p> <p>You'll be part of a mission-driven, not-for-profit healthcare system dedicated to holistic care-for our patients and our caregivers.</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>As a Pediatric Resource Team RN, you'll provide high-quality nursing care wherever pediatric patients need you most. Your expertise will support continuity, safety, and excellent outcomes across multiple pediatric units, helping ensure children and families receive consistent, compassionate care-especially during overnight hours.</p> <p>This position is Full Time (0.90 FTE), Night shift</p> <p>Represented by a collective bargaining agreement</p> <p>Multiple openings may be available</p> <p>Compensation & Total Rewards</p> <ul> <li>Hourly Pay Range: $56.92 - $86.09 </li></ul> <p>Hiring rate is based on the collective bargaining agreement.</p> <ul> <li>$7.75/hour night shift & $3.50 Resource Team differentials </li><li>Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage </li><li>403(b) retirement plan with employer base and matching contributions </li><li>Generous paid time off </li><li>Employer-paid life and disability insurance (with buy-up options) </li><li>Tuition and continuing education reimbursement </li><li>Wellness programs and caregiver discount offerings </li><li>Expanded Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and mental health resources </li></ul> <p>PeaceHealth supports caregiver wellbeing-physical, emotional, financial, social, and spiritual.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized pediatric patient care </li><li>Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with professional standards and unit practices </li><li>Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record </li><li>Direct and delegate care based on team member competence and credentials </li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patients and families </li><li>Participate in quality improvement, safety, and infection prevention initiatives </li><li>Maintain professional effectiveness through ongoing education and development </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing</p> </li><li> <p>Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in state of practice</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum one (1) year of pediatric nursing experience in:</p> </li><li> <p>Acute care pediatrics, or</p> </li><li> <p>Pediatric Emergency Department, or</p> </li><li> <p>Pediatric long-term acute care</p> </li><li> <p>Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to deliver age-appropriate, family-centered care</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills</p> </li><li> <p>Basic computer proficiency</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) </li><li>PALS and NRP (required within 6 months of hire) </li></ul> <p>Working Environment & Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Patient handling up to 35 lbs. without assistive devices </li><li>Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and fine motor use </li><li>Ability to perform hands-on CPR as required </li><li>Exposure to biohazards, body fluids, and a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment </li></ul> <p>Why PeaceHealth?</p> <p>PeaceHealth is built on a legacy of compassion, respect, and service.
