<p>Req#: R38136</p> <p>Category(s): Finance, Treasury</p> <p>Full Time / Part Time: Full-Time</p> <p>Shift: First</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Location: 280 Chestnut St, Springfield MA-Hybrid option after training is complete</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday 8a-430pm</p> <p>1) Positioning cash balances for all Baystate Health entities ensuring daily cash flow obligations are met. Funding all cash outflows including payroll, payroll related items such as accrued compensation and tax sheltered annuity payments, controlled disbursements, bond and other debt instrument payments, miscellaneous wires and ACH transactions and short term investments.</p> <p>2) Managing short term investment needs for profit and non profit BH entities by coordinating purchases and sales of applicable instruments daily or as needed. Ensuring debt and debt related instrument obligations are met in a timely manner and maintaining proper documentation for obligation payments as provided by third party lenders.</p> <p>3) Calculating monthly intercompany settlement amounts due and payable between BH entities to avoid build up of intercompany borrowings as well as communicating the results of the calculations and settling amounts monthly as available. Balancing previous day bank activity by company and communicating results to General Accounting Department</p> <p>4) Support debt compliance activities via DAC in collaboration with the Accounting Department. Provide assistance and support to other personnel within the system. Respond to and research inquiries related to cash, investments and banking and answer other questions within the limits of own position responsibilities. Assist other treasury personnel within the area as required or directed.</p> <p>5) Preparing controlled disbursement funding amounts based on daily federal presentment amounts and company allocations from sub account detail and ensuring proper accounting for the funding.
