<p>IT Project Manager</p> <p>About HDI Global Insurance Company</p> <p>HDI Global Insurance Company is a commercial property and casualty insurer headquartered in Chicago, IL. Our extensive portfolio of products and services, combined with an international network of local insurers in over 150 countries, enables us to offer comprehensive domestic and global insurance solutions for U.S.-based multinational companies.</p> <p>We are currently seeking an IT Project Manager - Business Transformation to lead strategic initiatives that modernize systems, improve operational efficiency, and enable scalable growth. This role partners closely with business leaders to drive enterprise-wide transformation through technology and process optimization.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives including system implementations, process redesign, automation, and digital enablement projects. </li><li>Partner with executive and business stakeholders to define transformation roadmaps aligned with strategic objectives. </li><li>Translate business strategy into structured project plans, measurable milestones, and actionable execution frameworks. </li><li>Manage the full project lifecycle from business case development through implementation and value realization. </li><li>Drive process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending technology-enabled solutions. </li><li>Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and external vendors. </li><li>Oversee change management strategies to ensure strong stakeholder alignment, user adoption, and sustained results. </li><li>Establish governance structures, KPIs, and reporting dashboards to track transformation outcomes. </li><li>Proctively manage risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts across multiple workstreams. </li><li>Present project updates, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees. </li><li>Contribute to continuous improvement of enterprise project management and transformation methodologies. </li></ul> <p>Skills, Knowledge & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of business process transformation, system modernization, and digital strategy execution. </li><li>Experience leading enterprise software implementations (e.g., policy administration, claims platforms, ERP, CRM, or workflow automation tools). </li><li>Ability to align technology initiatives with business outcomes and measurable ROI. </li><li>Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid) and change management frameworks. </li><li>Strong analytical mindset with experience mapping current-state vs. future-state processes. </li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. </li><li>Executive presence and ability to present complex concepts clearly and confidently. </li><li>Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence </li><li>High level of organization, adaptability, and accountability in fast-paced environments. </li><li>Facilitate trade-off discussions and re-prioritization when necessary </li><li>5+ years of experience in P&C insurance with a strong working knowledge of underwriting and claims lifecycle </li></ul> <p>Additional Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field required. </li><li>Minimum 7-10 years of experience leading complex IT or business transformation initiatives. </li><li>PMP, Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated experience working across multiple business functions and driving enterprise-wide change. </li><li>Experience on Guidewire PolicyCenter projects is preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>The base salary range for this position is $110,000-130,000, plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus.
