<p>Sr Business Product Manager - Patient CRM</p> <p>Function: CRM</p> <p>Working Model: Fully On-Site</p> <p>Shift: Standard 8 hours - 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM PT</p> <p>Position Overview</p> <p>The Sr Business Product Manager, Patient Customer Relationship Management (CRM), is responsible for driving the design, development, adoption, and continuous improvement of the Patient CRM product suite. This role integrates core capabilities from Access Solutions, Population Health, and Customer Engagement to deliver a digital-forward, data-driven CRM ecosystem.</p> <p>The Senior Business Product Manager leads high-impact experimentation, leverages user insights, and partners closely with Business Product Owners, Executive Directors, and Technical Product Managers across DDA and RDT to shape strategic roadmaps and drive user adoption. This role ensures seamless implementation through structured feedback loops, UAT oversight, and cross-functional alignment across business and IT teams.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Product Strategy & Roadmap</p> <ul> <li>Partner with the Business Product Owner and/or Executive Director - CRM Suite Leader to develop digital-forward Patient CRM product roadmaps, including experience design, feature planning, timelines, and dependencies. </li><li>Evangelize the Patient CRM product vision, value proposition, and roadmap to Sr leaders and enterprise stakeholders. </li><li>Drive experimentation and data-driven learning agendas to enhance product offerings and market positioning. </li><li>Track customer engagement trends, market shifts, and emerging technologies within the pharmaceutical industry to inform CRM strategy. </li></ul> <p>Product Development & Execution</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with the Technical Product Manager to ensure alignment between business outcomes and technical feasibility. </li><li>Drive the development and enhancement of Patient CRM product features in alignment with the overall product vision. </li><li>Define business requirements for capabilities, features, and non-functional performance standards, leveraging GNE and industry best practices. </li><li>Ensure Patient CRM product features meet compliance, privacy, and regulatory standards while supporting effective field force engagement. </li></ul> <p>User Insights, UAT & Adoption</p> <ul> <li>Oversee business process and user insights collection through User Acceptance Testing (UAT). </li><li>Act as the primary point of contact for business feedback, recommendations, and enhancement requests. </li><li>Support rollout of new features across new and existing user groups. </li><li>Partner closely with Customer Experience teams to ensure the Patient CRM experience meets end-user expectations. </li></ul> <p>Cross-Functional Collaboration</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT, and enterprise product teams to align on product roadmaps and execution plans. </li><li>Collaborate with Field Sales, Medical, and Marketing teams to define and prioritize functionality that supports timely and personalized patient interactions. </li><li>Work with cross-functional teams and IT partners to ensure successful product integration and operational execution. </li><li>Support the establishment and pull-through of business standards and templates in partnership with the Business Product Owner / Executive Director - CRM Suite Leader. </li></ul> <p>Compliance & Governance</p> <ul> <li>Ensure all activities comply with laws, regulations, and internal policies governing Genentech operations. </li><li>Maintain alignment with regulatory, privacy, and quality standards across all Patient CRM product features. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in business, technology, operations, science, marketing, or a related field. </li><li>7+ years of experience, including 5+ years in product management, digital product operations, or equivalent roles. </li><li>Demonstrated ownership of product components or tactics, with the ability to articulate business problems, identify solutions, and drive execution from strategy through implementation. </li><li>Proven experience developing and executing product roadmaps, including feature planning and dependency management. </li><li>Experience conducting UAT and rolling out new features across diverse user bases. </li><li>Strong track record of aligning stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless product integration. </li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience driving experimentation and optimization. </li><li>Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to evangelize product vision across all organizational levels. </li><li>Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt within evolving environments. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree (MBA or related graduate-level qualification). </li><li>Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated industries. </li><li>Experience leading or managing enterprise CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva, Salesforce) within life sciences or healthcare. </li><li>Strong understanding of patient engagement strategies and omnichannel orchestration. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to innovate and foster experimentation to enhance product capabilities. </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract position based out of South San Francisco, CA.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $100.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
