This role is primarily responsible for managing staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage while also supporting daily administrative operations such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and assisting with CNA interviews.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will have strong communication and multitasking skills, a team-first attitude, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Scheduling:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly staff schedules for nursing and support teams </li><li>Proactively fill call-ins, open shifts, and time-off requests </li><li>Communicate schedule updates clearly and promptly to team members </li><li>Collaborate with department leaders to anticipate staffing needs </li><li>Ensure scheduling compliance with labor regulations and internal policies </li><li>Maintain accurate scheduling records in OnShift software </li></ul> <p>Administrative Services:</p> <ul> <li>Serve as front desk support: answer and direct phone calls, greet and assist visitors, handle general inquiries </li><li>Support CNA interview processes </li><li>Maintain organized files and documentation for administrative purposes </li><li>Provide back-up support to other administrative staff as needed </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Successful completion of a state-approved Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Medication Aide course, or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of employment </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred </li><li>Prior scheduling or healthcare administrative experience strongly preferred </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software (e.g., OnShift or similar) </li><li>Exceptional organizational and time management skills </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal abilities </li><li>Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality </li><li>Occasional evening or weekend availability may be required to address urgent scheduling needs via staffing cell phone* </li></ul> <p>What's In It For You:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive benefits package including low premiums, short-term disability, long-term disability, HSA contribution matching, 401(k) with company match, and more! </li><li>Flexible scheduling and competitive wage scales. </li><li>Tuition reimbursement and scholarship programs up to $3,000 per year. </li><li>Financial wellness and freedom through access to your earned wages prior to your pay date! </li><li>A great culture where we live out our mission, "To celebrate life in environments we create by delivering exceptional service and superior value through innovative leadership in personalized care." </li></ul> <p>In 1989, Nye Health Services was founded on the philosophy that people deserve services that recognize individuality and are tailored to their unique needs.
