These positions support</p> <p>the implementation of safety and environmental compliance by identifying safety</p> <p>hazards and risks, while helping to ensure teammates are informed about safe</p> <p>working practices. Responsibilities also include involvement with Joint</p> <p>Commission safety tracer rounds and comprehensive environmental, health, and</p> <p>safety inspections.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>1.Assists with maintaining the Environment of Care and Life Safety Code.</p> <p>2.Supervises Rex's RCRA Hazardous and Pharmaceutical Waste Program .</p> <p>3.Supervises Rex's Universal Waste program ensuring (batteries, ballasts, UV lamps, aerosol cans are stored and shipped per regulation).</p> <ol start="4"> <li> <p>Maintains hazardous waste manifests and par level for hazardous waste containers.</p> </li><li> <p>First responder for fire, chemical, pharmaceutical, and hazardous waste spills.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with safety and environmental compliance, projects, and related assigned duties.</p> </li></ol> <p>Other information:</p> <p>Education Requirements:</p> <p>? High School dipolma or equivalent.</p> <p>Licensure/Certification Requirements:</p> <p>? None required.</p> <p>Professional Experience Requirements:</p> <p>? Requires previous experience working with hazardous waste.</p> <p>?
