We electrify the world with advanced grid technology and accelerate the energy transition"</p> <p>The Test Lab Team Lead is responsible for leading test lab tasks such as pre-tests and electro-electronic or electromechanical tests routinely done on equipment, complying with the safety regulations inherent to the activities performed. Prepare final reports and records of tests performed in a computerized database and in conjuction with the Supervior.</p> <p>X</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION</p> <ul> <li>Ensures team tests functional performance of circuit breakers, including electrical and mechanical functions, leak tests, high voltage test, as well as, visual and dimensional inspections </li><li>Performs mechanical adjustment operations on circuit breaker components, linkages, and operating mechanisms. </li><li>Compares results with specifications, records test data, and prints test results </li><li>Performs electrical trouble-shooting and minor repairs, including the replacing of defective wiring and electrical components, and mechanical repairs. Frequently required to support production during repair procedures. </li><li>Analyzes test results on defective units and reports on nonconforming products. </li><li>Confers with engineers, technicians, production personnel, and others regarding testing procedures and results and to resolve problems. </li><li>Reviews test reports from other test technicians and maintains the test reports files. </li><li>Calibrates test instruments according to specifications. </li><li>Performs maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical test equipment, gas handling equipment, and test facilities. </li><li>Ensures the product will meet customer requirement in regards for finished goods. </li><li>Documents work performed by filling out proper forms and ensure test lab technicians papework and complete and comprehensive. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>QAULIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as test standards, inspection and test procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and interpret documents such as IEEE and IEC circuit breaker and test standards, inspection and test procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals </li><li>Ability to speak effectively, write routine reports and correspondence </li><li>Must be articulate and professional, with good interpersonal skills because of frequent customer witness tests in the test lab. </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>Associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of related experience in quality control testing or electrical panel wiring </li></ul>
