<p>FlexStaff is seeking a detail-oriented professional with a passion for healthcare billing and claims management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at solving complex billing puzzles? If so, we want YOU to be part of our client's dynamic team!</p> <p>This is a TEMP to PERM position</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Manage and streamline accounts receivable processes for our innovative orthotics and prosthetics practice. </li><li>Prepare, verify, and record customer payments with precision. </li><li>Investigate and resolve denied claims swiftly to maximize revenue. </li><li>Handle commercial and Medicaid claims across all aging buckets-posting, appeals, and ADRs. </li><li>Review electronic and paper EOBs, identify denials, and take decisive action. </li><li>Pursue delinquent accounts and coordinate collections efforts. </li><li>Collaborate with insurance carriers, medical records, and internal teams to ensure smooth claim resolutions. </li><li>Generate weekly reports to keep management informed of account statuses. </li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA and maintain strict confidentiality. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical billing, AR management, or related healthcare finance roles. </li><li>Deep knowledge of medical insurance, billing guidelines, and compliance standards. </li><li>Experience with orthotics and prosthetics billing highly preferred. </li><li>Proficiency with practice management software such as Waystar, OPIE, Medflex, and familiarity with NY Medicaid & CT Medicaid portals. </li><li>Skilled in navigating ePaces portal and handling billing/AR claims. </li><li>Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish? That's a plus! </li><li>High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred. </li><li>At least 2+ years in a healthcare setting, specifically working with billing and AR. </li><li>Experience in orthotics & prosthetics is a must. </li><li>Additional Salary Detail The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
