<p>Overview</p> <p>Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Supervisor</p> <p>Location: Varies by project location (Utah and surrounding regions)</p> <p>Job Summary:</p> <p>WW Clyde is seeking a skilled and safety-focused MOT Supervisor to manage and oversee all aspects of temporary traffic control on heavy civil construction projects. The MOT Supervisor will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining safe and efficient traffic control setups that comply with project specifications, state DOT regulations, and company standards.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop, implement, and monitor Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans in coordination with project management and engineering teams. </li><li>Ensure all traffic control operations are compliant with MUTCD, state DOT guidelines (e.g., UDOT), and local agency requirements. </li><li>Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, and flaggers to manage lane closures, detours, signage, and safety devices. </li><li>Inspect traffic control setups daily and adjust as needed to ensure public and worker safety. </li><li>Conduct safety briefings related to traffic control and provide ongoing training to flaggers and field crews. </li><li>Maintain accurate records of lane closure notifications, permits, traffic incidents, and inspection reports. </li><li>Serve as the point of contact with public agencies regarding MOT issues, lane closures, and permitting. </li><li>Lead efforts to minimize disruption to traffic flow and maintain public relations in affected areas. </li><li>Monitor and manage MOT equipment and signage inventory on-site. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in traffic control or heavy civil construction; supervisory experience preferred. </li><li>Valid MOT Supervisor Certification (e.g., ATSSA or state-specific). </li><li>Strong understanding of MUTCD guidelines, UDOT specifications, and temporary traffic control standards. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and MOT plans. </li><li>Excellent communication and leadership skills. </li><li>Ability to work in outdoor conditions and adapt to changing project needs. </li><li>Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>OSHA 10 or 30 Certification </li><li>Experience with large-scale DOT projects </li><li>Bilingual in Spanish and English (a plus) </li></ul> <p>About WW Clyde:</p> <p>WW Clyde is a premier heavy civil construction company based in Utah, known for its strong commitment to safety, innovation, and delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.
