<p>Salt Lake Community College seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented project Program Associate to support the implementation of our Success Coaching strategy. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Success Coaching, this part-time position focuses on coordinating and tracking all elements of the Success Coaching strategy, with particular attention to Online Success Coaching.</p> <p>Under close supervision, the Program Associate will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of business processes that serve SLCC's Success Coaching and Contact Center initiatives. This role involves collaborating with the Assistant Director of Success Coaching and the Director of the Contact Center/Success Coaching to meet the needs of diverse stakeholders, including staff, faculty, students, and administrators. Key responsibilities include documenting and improving departmental processes, maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders, managing student communications through Canvas and other platforms, coordinating logistics for coaching training, and supporting departmental participation in campus events and administrative tasks as needed.</p> <p>As an operations-focused member of the Success Coaching team, the Program Associate will oversee website and Canvas updates, support data management, and consult on administrative processes to enhance the efficiency and impact of Success Coaching efforts at SLCC.</p> <p>Essential Responsibilities and Duties</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with the Assistant Director of Success Coaching and Director of the Contact Center to track and implement the Success Coaching strategy. </li><li>Project Management: Develop and oversee project plans, timelines, and budgets for the implementation of success coaching initiatives. </li><li>Cross-departmental Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration with departments across the College to ensure alignment with College goals. </li><li>Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and evaluate project risks and issues; assist in developing mitigation strategies as needed. </li><li>Communication Updates: Manage and update student communications related to success coaching through Canvas, SLCC Website, MySLCC, and other channels. </li><li>Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support the success coaching program and related projects. </li></ul> <p>Essential Responsibilities and Duties Continued Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Associate's degree from an accredited university or college.</p> <p>Full time related work experience may be substituted for education on a 1:1 basis.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Directly related experience in higher education.</p> <p>Experience working in a remote office setting.</p> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of student success and business processes</p> <p>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Process Improvement: Identify and update processes and procedures that create barriers for students and stakeholders. </li><li>Project Management: Strong skills in developing and managing project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources; able to prioritize and handle multiple projects. </li><li>Cross-functional Collaboration: Experience coordinating and facilitating communication among departments; adept at gathering information and synthesizing perspectives. </li><li>Communication: </li><li>Verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for various stakeholders. </li><li>Strong technical writing skills, including grammar, spelling, and Business English proficiency. </li><li>Effective interpersonal skills for diverse interactions with students, faculty, staff, and stakeholders across cultural and ability backgrounds. </li><li>Problem-Solving and Analysis: Strong analytical skills to identify risks, mitigate issues, and solve problems independently. </li><li>Organizational Skills: Highly organized, able to multi-task, prioritize, and work quickly under pressure to meet deadlines. </li><li>Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with MySuccess (Starfish) and Canvas. </li><li>Knowledge of College Policies: Understanding of college policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality. </li><li>Conflict Navigation: Skilled in navigating conflict and safeguarding confidential information. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College. </li><li>Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities. </li></ul> <p>Non-Essential Responsibilities and Duties Special Instructions</p> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. US Citizenship is preferred, but non-citizens may be considered if they possess valid employment authorization.</p> <p>All employees are required to maintain a permanent residence within the State of Utah as a condition of employment. Employees must provide and record a valid Utah residential address within 30 days of their start date.</p> <p>This position requires individual with remote experience.
