<p>Job Description:</p> <p>GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <p>Provide instruction to students in two 8-week sections. The first 8-week section will be (CIT110) MAC OS Support Essentials I and the second 8-week section will be (CIT111) MAC OS Support Essentials II during the Fall 2025 semester (September 2, 2025- December 29, 2025). Course Descriptions are as follows:</p> <p>CIT110 MAC OS Support Essentials I - This course provides students with the necessary fundamental skills to use, support, and troubleshoot the Mac OS. Students will gain a strong hands-on knowledge of the Mac OS installation and configuration, managing user accounts and file systems. This is the first of two Mac OS courses required to prepare for the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) Certification.</p> <p>CIT111 MAC OS Support Essentials II - This course provides students with advanced skills to use, support, and troubleshoot the Mac OS. Students will gain a strong hands-on knowledge of the Mac OS data and apps management, network configuration and services, and system management. This is the second of two Mac OS courses required to prepare for the Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) Certification.</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Provide instruction in both traditional and non-traditional learning modes. </li><li>Select and develop appropriate materials for class use. </li><li>Assessment of student performance, including submission of final grades in a timely fashion. </li><li>Maintain appropriate attendance and learner records. </li><li>Be available to students when mutually convenient. </li><li>Provide a large number of hands-on labs and examples, during classes while covering the technical material. </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in technology with 3 years' experience using MACs, or an Associate degree in IT with 5 years' experience using MACs, or 8 years of experience using MACs. </li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills. </li><li>Training or teaching experience using MACs. </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Experience and commitment to working in a global multicultural academic or professional setting. </li><li>College teaching experience </li></ul> <p>Equivalency Statement</p> <p>Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as noted above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience has prepared them with the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience required for the responsibilities of this position.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>COMPENSATION: Anticipated starting salary - Step I DCE Pay Scale; Part-time, non-benefited.
