Putting people first is our mission.</p> <p>When you join South Oxford Management, you become part of a team, where youre encouraged to learn, share ideas, and participate in team building and charitable activities.</p> <p>How You Will Contribute</p> <p>The Assistant Community Manager supports and assists the Community Manager in overseeing and general administration of the property and perform related management functions with the daily operations of an apartment community. Monitors company policies and procedure function for their specific property.</p> <p>Things You Will Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Managing the financial and operational facets of the community by:</p> </li><li> <p>Completing accounting and bookkeeping tasks</p> </li><li> <p>Preparing monthly close-out and financial reports</p> </li><li> <p>Processing invoices for payment</p> </li><li> <p>Collecting rent, fees, and other payments</p> </li><li> <p>Completing bank deposits, dispositions, and account reconciliations</p> </li><li> <p>Using the property management software to record, track, and report on all financial workings of the community</p> </li><li> <p>Initiate all necessary lease violations, late rent notices, and evictions as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Support occupancy and retention goals by following up with potential and current residents.</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct move out inspections to determine applicable charges for damages. Conduct inspections to determine market readiness and implement high quality standards of cleanliness and aesthetic appearance</p> </li><li> <p>Initiate necessary lease violations, late rent notices, and evictions as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Build relationships with residents through courteous and timely response to needs and concerns</p> </li><li> <p>Become a market expert by being abreast of competition and surrounding area</p> </li><li> <p>Visually inspect/prepare property (office, models, compactor, vacant, curb appeal and amenity areas) daily for cleanliness. Inspect and touch up model and vacant units.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with the Community Manager to ensure seamless community management in the Community Managers absence</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate effectively with residents, future residents, visitors, vendors and team members while presenting a positive, professional image</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for bad debt collections process</p> </li><li> <p>Perform additional duties as assigned by the Community Manager</p> </li></ul> <p>Things You Will Need</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or equivalent; bachelors degree preferred </li><li></li></ul>
