Responsible for promoting the safety and security of staff and guests on the mountain, Ski Patrol are alert and dependable professionals focused on promoting safety with the ability to remain calm in a crisis when incidents arise.</p> <p>Job Specifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.03/hr</p> </li><li> <p>Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026</p> </li><li> <p>Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available</p> </li><li> <p>Required Certification Level: NREMT</p> </li><li> <p>Required Ski Level: Expert</p> </li><li> <p>Other Specifics: Patrol members operate a variety of tasks in all terrain and in all weather conditions. Due to the nature of this position candidates must be able to pass an expert level ski patrol test upon hire</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Monitoring and promoting guest safety</p> </li><li> <p>Provide exceptional guest service</p> </li><li> <p>Assisting injured guests on the mountain and administering first aid</p> </li><li> <p>Transporting injured guests off the mountain using a toboggan</p> </li><li> <p>Performing sweeps at the end of the day to ensure that all guests are safely off the mountain</p> </li><li> <p>Maintaining trails, identifying and mitigating hazards</p> </li><li> <p>Transporting and setting up mountain safety equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Transporting supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need on skis</p> </li><li> <p>Participation in continued on the job training program</p> </li><li> <p>Avalanche control including safely transporting and placing explosives on the mountain and stabilizing snowpack on skis</p> </li><li> <p>Driving snowmobiles to various areas of the mountain as needed</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned</p> </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Must have a minimum of one year patrolling experience</p> </li><li> <p>Must have the ability to lift 50lbs</p> </li><li> <p>Must have the ability to stand outside in changing winter conditions for extended periods of time</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to ski at an expert level on all terrain, in all weather conditions</p> </li></ul> <p>The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.03/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
