Dept. </li><li>Sets up machines with standard cycle time for production. </li><li>Responsible for required adjustments needed to fulfill the product specification requirements such as weight, color distribution, and cycle times. </li><li>Setup molds as required by production schedule. </li><li>Maintain a clean and safe work area and report any unsafe working conditions. </li><li>Check and maintain quality of the product being produced by identifying acceptable and non-acceptable product. </li><li>Work independently from verbal and/or written instructions from the Shift Supervisor. </li><li>Answer machine alarms as they occur and address the root cause. </li><li>Communicate with off-going/on-coming technicians. </li><li>Documenting ending cycle process parameter and any tool issues as appropriate. </li><li>The ability to monitor the process and show an awareness of issues and demonstrate corrective actions to address those issues. </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent required </li><li>Must have at least 3 or more years of experience in a technical, hands-on position, including Injection Molding or Injection Blow Molding. </li><li>Ability to speak, read, and write English. </li><li>Knowledge of plastic processing and trouble shooting. </li><li>Basic math skills. </li><li>Basic computer skills. </li><li>Must be mechanically inclined and have the ability to use basic hand tools. </li><li>Possess good hand-eye coordination with manual dexterity. </li><li>Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. </li><li>Must possess own tools required on the technician tool list </li><li>Teamwork-cooperative and respectful of all employees/department. </li><li>Initiative - self-motivated. </li><li>Suggest ways to improve the efficiency and safety of our work and its environment. </li><li>Good communication/teaching and interpersonal skills. </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in this role, please apply via the apply now link provided.
