<p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Early Childhood Education Program at BHCC is designed to prepare students for transfer to four-year institutions to become licensed educators working in preschool settings. The Education Department is seeking instructors to teach in-person courses between day hours (8:30 A.M. - 4:00 P.M.) or evening hours (6:00 P.M. or later).</p> <p>We are seeking an instructor with the following skills:</p> <ul> <li>Field experience teaching, infant, toddler, preschool </li><li>Knowledge of the Massachusetts Early Education and Care credentialing system </li><li>Flexibility to teach in-person, day, evening, or weekends </li><li>Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education </li></ul> <p>Available course(s) starting Fall 2025.</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education or professional educator licensure with Master's Degree in other relevant content area. </li><li>Experience teaching infant, toddler, or preschool-aged children, preferably in Massachusetts. </li><li>Engage with community college faculty, staff, and students to support student success. </li><li>Desire to prepare future educators to provide high-quality instruction. </li><li>Commitment to helping future educators think critically about how education systems impact students. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salary: $1,397.00 per credit hour</p> <p>Review Date: open until filled</p> <p>Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as noted above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience has prepared them with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience required for the responsibilities of this position.</p> <p>Please note that as a condition of employment, the final candidate will undergo Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background screenings in accordance with state regulations.
