<p>Position Overview:</p> <p>Rossville Middle/Senior High School is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 school year. This position will primarily focus on teaching middle school mathematics (grades 6-8) with potential opportunities to support additional math instruction at the high school level, depending on licensure and scheduling needs.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, deliver, and assess engaging mathematics instruction aligned with Indiana Academic Standards. </li><li>Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students. </li><li>Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment focused on growth and academic success. </li><li>Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including technology integration, to enhance learning. </li><li>Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress. </li><li>Maintain accurate and organized records for grading, attendance, and other administrative requirements. </li><li>Collaborate with colleagues in professional learning communities (PLCs) to plan interdisciplinary lessons, assessments, and interventions. </li><li>Support students in the development of strong mathematical foundations necessary for success in high school and beyond. </li><li>Engage in continuous professional development to enhance instructional practices. </li><li>Participate in school activities, events, and committees as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Valid Indiana teaching license in Mathematics (Middle School or Secondary Math preferred). </li><li>Strong content knowledge and a passion for teaching mathematics to middle school learners. </li><li>Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families. </li><li>Strong classroom management and organizational skills. </li><li>Effective communication and collaboration skills. </li><li>Commitment to fostering a safe and supportive learning environment. </li></ul> <p>The salary and benefits are noted in our Master Teacher Contract, which can be found here:</p> <p>https://resources.finalsite.net/images/v1731521657/rcsdk12inus/fyjbymqiycfuoqkybodj/2024-2025MasterContract.pdf</p>
