The teacher will lead a classroom team including paraprofessionals and behavior technicians, ensuring students access individualized instruction while being integrated into general education settings in accordance with their IEPs.?</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <p>Instructional Planning & Delivery</p> <ul> <li> <p>Develop and implement individualized instruction.?</p> </li><li> <p>Create and maintain a structured classroom environment with visual supports and routines.?</p> </li><li> <p>Utilize discrete trial teaching and ABA principles as needed.?</p> </li><li> <p>Schedule and monitor student participation in general education settings per IEPs.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Team Leadership & Adult Supervision</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise and schedule classroom paraprofessionals and behavior technicians.?</p> </li><li> <p>Provide modeling, coaching, and feedback to support instructional consistency.?</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain a collaborative, professional classroom culture.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Assessment & Case Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Fulfill case management responsibilities, including progress monitoring and IEP compliance.?</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct evaluations, write reports, and maintain documentation in CT-SEDS.?</p> </li><li> <p>Collect and analyze student data to guide instructional and behavioral decision-making.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Communication & Collaboration</p> <ul> <li> <p>Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress.?</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with related service providers, BCBAs, and general education staff.?</p> </li><li> <p>Participate actively in PPT meetings and contribute to IEP development.?</p> </li></ul> <p>Attachment(s):</p> <ul> <li>Special Education Teacher.pdf </li></ul>
