<p>PK 2 Teacher's Aide</p> <p>Reports To: Early Learning Center Principal</p> <p>Status: Part Time, Non-Exempt</p> <p>Employment Period: August 2025-May 2026</p> <p>Schedule: Tu / Th 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. following the school schedule</p> <p>Job Summary: Act in a support role to the classroom teacher</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in planning and implementing the daily program under the direction of the teacher </li><li>Assist in planning and preparing the learning environment, setting up interest centers, and preparing needed materials and supplies </li><li>Supervise children when the Head Teacher is in or out of the classroom </li><li>Help with the general housekeeping tasks </li><li>Keep record of the periodic cleaning of cots, materials and furnishings </li><li>Assist the teacher in any other appropriate ways </li><li>Maintain a professional attitude and representation of the school at all times </li><li>Faithfully implement the systems, policies and procedures as outlined by the Head of School and/or Preschool Administrator </li><li>Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences as directed </li><li>Must obtain Ohio Educational Aide Permit prior to start date, if does not have a teaching license </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum High School diploma </li><li>Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, preferred </li><li>Experience working with preschool or elementary aged children </li><li>Strong Christian background </li><li>Comfortable working in a multi-denomination Christian community </li></ul> <p>CHCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.</p> <p>MENTAL FUNCTIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to compare, analyze, communicate, copy, coordinate, instruct, compute, synthesize, evaluate, use interpersonal skills, compile and negotiate.</p>
