This position is primarily focused on the management of credit and collection efforts associated with approximately 600 domestic accounts and 40 International accounts. This role is responsible for all aspects of credit risk management while working closely with all levels of management and interacting with customers.</p> <p>This is an onsite role at our Salisbury, MD Corporate Offices. Relocation is available for qualified candidates.</p> <p>The salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).</p> <p>In addition to the base salary, Perdue offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/Rx, 401(k) with employer match after 1 year, critical illness, accident insurance, dental, vison, life insurance, optional group life insurance, short-term and long-term disability protection, flexible spending accounts and paid time off</p> <p>Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Evaluates and delivers credit assessments aligned with Corporate financial objectives. </li><li>Establishes new account credit terms and limits based on appropriate review of references; including credit reports, performing financial analysis of customer financial statements and reviewing letters of credit. </li><li>Manages collection efforts to ensure adherence to terms, minimize past due balances and avoid material bad debts. </li><li>Works professionally with customers and sales personnel, as needed, to coordinate timely payments and resolve disputes. </li><li>Provides counsel to the business and credit team members on high-risk and large customers, offering creative alternatives or financial consulting to enhance sales and minimize risk of loss. </li><li>Manages Credit Department staff to support the business. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Education and Experience Requirements</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with 8-10 years of related experience. Our ideal candidate will have/be:</p> <ul> <li>Previous supervisory experience required. </li><li>Progressive mindset and aptitude in implementing technology and productivity tools such as web portals and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. </li><li>Requires some, but limited travel. </li></ul> <p>Experience Preferred</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree and/or CPA/CMA certification </li></ul> <p>Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements</p> <p>Position is office based in an open cubical setting.</p> <p>Perdue Farms, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
