Reporting to senior</p> <p>ambulatory leadership, this role oversees day-to-day operations, supports nursing and interdisciplinary</p> <p>teams, and drives consistent performance across assigned ambulatory locations.</p> <p>The Director leads operational and clinical coordination across a multi-site ambulatory environment,</p> <p>ensuring alignment with institutional goals, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards. This</p> <p>position translates strategic priorities into operational execution by optimizing workflows, improving</p> <p>patient flow, enhancing access, and promoting efficient utilization of resources across clinic and ancillary</p> <p>services.</p> <p>Operating within an enterprise ambulatory framework, the Director maintains accountability for</p> <p>operational performance, including staffing optimization, productivity, quality outcomes, patient</p> <p>experience, and financial stewardship. The role partners closely with physician leadership, nursing</p> <p>teams, and cross-functional departments, leading through influence to drive operational alignment and</p> <p>performance outcomes across interdisciplinary teams where direct reporting relationships may vary.</p> <p>The Director provides visible leadership presence across assigned campuses through regular on-site</p> <p>engagement, coaching and developing frontline leaders, and ensuring consistent implementation of</p> <p>standardized best practices. This position fosters operational alignment, supports leadership</p> <p>development, and promotes a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.</p> <p>As a key operational partner, the Director serves as a liaison between frontline teams and senior</p> <p>leadership, ensuring clear communication, effective escalation pathways, and alignment with broader</p> <p>organizational initiatives. The role supports program expansion, operational readiness initiatives, and</p> <p>evolving care delivery models within a rapidly growing ambulatory oncology environment.</p> <p>Functions as a key operational leader within an ambulatory clinic model, partnering with senior leadership</p> <p>to translate enterprise strategy into scalable, high-performing operational practices across multiple sites,</p> <p>ensuring consistency, sustainability, and alignment with organizational standards.</p> <p>Minimum Education: MSN. Nursing must be in an accredited</p> <p>school; May consider candidate currently enrolled in an approved Masters' program and must graduate within 2 years of date of hire.</p> <p>LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Must possess a current FL Nursing license.</p> <p>Preferred: Oncology Certification.</p> <p>Minimum Experience Required</p> <p>Minimum five (5) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience in nursing leadership and</p> <p>ambulatory operations, with demonstrated increasing scope of responsibility and operational complexity.</p> <p>Minimum Skills/Specialized Training Required</p> <p>Demonstrated ability to translate organizational strategy into tactical operational plans that advance</p> <p>nursing services, patient care delivery, and ambulatory operational performance.</p> <p>Comprehensive knowledge of ambulatory clinical workflows, patient care processes, and interdisciplinary</p> <p>care models, with the ability to optimize patient flow, access, and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Advanced skills in financial and operational management, including capital planning, operational and</p> <p>labor budgeting, resource allocation, productivity management, and performance analytics.</p> <p>Strong interpersonal and leadership capabilities with the ability to effectively influence, coach, and</p> <p>develop multidisciplinary teams while fostering collaborative relationships within an integrated academic</p> <p>and clinical environment.</p> <p>Share:</p>
