Our site, Albéa Shelbyville is specialized in Laminate Tubes for Oral, Cosmetic & Pharmaceutical Markets.</p> <p>Scope</p> <p>Responsible for assisting in the preventative and corrective maintenance on tubing production lines to include the seamer, header, capper, packer, and carton erector while maintaining Company quality standards for customer satisfaction and adhering to all company policies and procedures.</p> <p>EHS Daily Rounds.</p> <p>Main activities</p> <ul> <li>Assist in Performing preventative maintenance in accordance with checklists and procedures </li><li>Assist in Troubleshooting mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic systems </li><li>Assist in repairs of equipment, fixtures, systems, conveyors, and other equipment as required </li><li>Lubricate equipment as required </li><li>Create and report all corrective maintenance repairs at end of shift </li><li>Document all parts and material usage </li><li>Understand and follow all plant safety rules including lifting, machine operation, lock out tag out, and proper equipment usage </li><li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as standard operating procedures, EHS documents, safety rules, and procedure manuals </li><li>Must have good verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels of the organization </li><li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals </li><li>Ability to solve problems to the root cause using concrete variables in standardized situations </li><li>Must be able to work flexible scheduling to include occasional weekends </li><li>Must be able to regularly lift and move 50 pounds </li><li>Other duties as assigned by supervisor </li></ul> <p>Accountability including KPIs</p> <ul> <li>During regular walk-throughs ensure that machine components are working to regular standards, to prevent product scrap. Sensors and camera systems </li><li>Do not exceed the downtime KPI limit. </li><li>Partner with operations to ensure changeover scheduled downtime is not exceeded. </li><li>Assist with the PM program to ensure PM targets are met. </li></ul> <p>Profile (Experience & qualifications)</p> <p>Industrial maintenance Diploma; or one (1) year related experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education</p> <p>Experience with hand tools and power tools</p>
